The Language of Love combine 80s RnB with jazz-fusion inspired improvisation to create a retro-modern sound. Key influences are Luther Vandross, Thundercat and Robert Glasper. The language of Love are a three piece from London consisting of drums/vocals, Keys and Sax; mixing the rhythmic playfulness of drum maestro’s like Dave Weckl with the romantic sentiment of Alexander O’Neal and the sensuality of sax legend Ronnie Laws. The Language of Love explore the way that modern intimacy is mediated and expressed and sing a love song for the pure hearts that get caught up in it all.
