We’re proud to announce our partnership with The George Tavern, the storied Grade II–listed pub and music hub at 373 Commercial Road in Stepney, East London. With roots reaching back to the 17th century as the Halfway House—and immortalized by Chaucer, Pepys, and Dickens—the current Georgian-era structure has been a venue for live music, art, and film since its revival in 2002.
Now an artist-owned beacon of East End creativity, The George Tavern is famed for hosting diverse acts—Nick Cave, Anna Calvi, The Magic Numbers, Kodaline, John Cooper Clarke—and serving as a richly atmospheric filming and photography location.
Our automatic recorder is now installed at The George Tavern, capturing every performance in pristine multitrack quality. This partnership fuses The George’s deep-rooted cultural significance and its legendary intimacy with our high-fidelity recording technology—ensuring historic East End gigs are preserved and shared in studio-like clarity.
